A Nighttime Energy Reset After a Stressful Day

A short evening practice can help your nervous system and energy field recognize that the difficult day is finished.
A stressful day can continue replaying long after the problem has ended. Your body remains braced, conversations repeat in your mind and sleep feels just out of reach. A nighttime reset creates a clear boundary between what happened and the rest you need now.
Empty the day onto paper
Write three unfinished thoughts and one action for tomorrow. This tells the mind the concerns have been recorded and do not need to remain active all night.
Clear through water and breath
Wash your hands or shower while imagining tension leaving with the water. Take five slow breaths, making each exhale slightly longer than the inhale.
Close your energy deliberately
Picture blue or white light settling around your body like a quiet boundary. Say, “Today is complete. What is mine stays with me; everything else may leave.” Find more grounded practices on the Guided Energies blog.
