How to Reset Your Energy After Travel

Travel disrupts sleep, routine and energetic boundaries; a simple arrival ritual helps your body recognize that you are home.
Even a wonderful trip can leave you feeling scattered. Airports, hotels, changing schedules and constant movement expose you to unfamiliar energy while pulling attention away from your normal anchors.
Unpack the body first
Drink water, wash your hands and face, and stand barefoot for a few minutes if that feels comfortable. Slow physical signals help the nervous system leave transit mode.
Clear objects before organizing them
Open the suitcase, remove laundry and wipe down frequently handled items. Imagine releasing the motion and noise attached to them rather than trying to perfect the whole house.
Reclaim the room
Open a window, dim the lights and sit with one familiar object. Picture blue-white light settling around you and say, “The journey is complete; my energy is home.” Explore more grounded practices on the Guided Energies blog.
